Shipping & Delivery Date Policy Shipping & Product Due Dates FOB PolicyGuaranteed Shipping Dates - We Ship Worldwide Available.When You Order Any Item To Be Produced By Scottsdale Art Factory L.L.C. We Can Guarantee A F.O.B. (freight on board our dock) Shipping Date on all paid specified orders with agreed upon due dates per your written contract.(this does not apply to discounted orders).This specified date is assigned upon final approval of all signed and approved designs and other vital choice information such as colors, textures, fabrics etc. that SAF deems necessary to be able to complete each custom item ordered to its specifications as per-scribed by our dealer/customer. In other words this due date can only be set when we have complete control of production of each item produced. On Paid Specific Guaranteed Due Date Orders Noted By Receipt Of Invoice If we do not meet our promised shipping date, we will pay your freight bill anywhere in the world. Note: This guarantee is valid only if in in writing on your particular invoice and the additional premium was paid and accepted at the time of order and no discounts were taken. This due date is F.O.B our dock. SAF further reserves the right to not accept such orders if it feels the asking build time is unrealistic to deliver a proper quality product. All Other Working Days Appearing On Your Work Order Are Approximate And Are Not Part Of This Offer. All work orders due to design changes, delays caused by customer indecision, dealer non response or lack of information required to complete each order can set the number work days back to zero. In addition it also can result in other orders going ahead while we have to pull your order out of the system waiting on required information from you to be able to produce your products. These Dates Are Our Best Guess At The Time Of Ordering Assuming Best Case Scenario. Most of the time due to our experience these dates are close and some times early. We always strive to meet these dates because its in our best interest to keep each customer satisfied and on time. However please keep in mind due to hand craftsmanship the use of real woods and and fine furniture hand rubbed finishes humidity levels, climate changes and other unforeseen elements out out our control can effect these completion dates. We advise each of our dealers to notify your customer of this possibility prior to accepting a order. Further it is our policy to keep our good name blemish free. If a dealer does not make his or her customer aware of this possibility and we become the bad guy we reserve the right discontinue our relationship with such a dealer. Our Focus Is Always On Delivering The Best Possible Product. We Feel This Is A Primary Reason We Have So Many Satisfied Repeat Dealers/Customers due to the fact all of our products stand on their own merits. Products standing on their integrity has been a family tradition since our founders insisted on this policy in 1913. No Fast Mass Production Manufacturer Can Claim This Honor Usually Because Their Focus Is On Profit And Not Your Best Interest. Through our state-of the-art systems, and our experienced freight department personal we put your freight needs out for bid to all the trucking companies in our system that service your area. This Bidding System Can Help You Acquire The Best Freight Rate Available To You And Your Customer.We also pass any discounts our company may receive from these shipping companies, due to our vast volume, onto you or your customer. We then inform you of the best freight rates we have located and advise you of your E.T.A. and other pertinent information. Since we do not mark up freight for profit, all freight is shipped C.O.D. Note: All Items Picked Up F.O.B In Arizona Are Subject To AZ State Sales Tax, Unless It Is Picked Up By An Properly Documented Out Of State Licensed Carrier.

This is a free service and only available to dealers/customers that appreciate our efforts. We do not set delivery times, rates, or own any trucks. When you accept a freight quote you are given all of the contact information directly with your shipper. It is your responsibly to verify this information directly. Once your freight is loaded upon your chosen truck we have no further control over eta times etc.
Our Responsibility For Freight Ends At The Shippers Tail Gate On Our Dock. Your trucking company is inspecting each item and signing on your behalf that each item being accepted by the freight company is in perfect condition and free of damage. (they are not signing that it is the item you ordered). From this point on your shipper and shippers insurance company is fully responsible to deliver your product in perfect condition. In the rawer instance is found that freight damage has occurred. It is your responsibility to file with your shipper at the time of delivery a freight damage claim. Note: If You Feel The Freight Prices We Have Acquired Can Be Negotiated Further It Is Your Responsibility To Negotiate Directly With Your Chosen Company. We are only the manufacturer and not in the freight business nor do we make any profits from freight. We feel when our experienced personal has presented the freight price we have received the best price available based upon our experience with these companies. If you feel you can do better it is your right to do so directly or send your own qualified truck. Freight times freight rates have no bering on your purchase contract with us.

Over The Years We Have Arranged Delivery With Many Freight Companies Worldwide. It has been our experience that the cheapest is not always the best. We could mark up our products to include the freight like most other furniture manufacturers do, however we feel this would be unfair to our customers because of the various geographic locations. By waiting for your furniture to be ready for pick up, we are able to get you the best price. Sometimes, Depending Upon The Routing Schedule, The Same Trucking Company Can Quote As Much As 50% less than a price received prior to the items arriving on our freight dock to ship. Many trucking companies' delivery prices are much less if they are already bringing items close to your area. It is our intention to only make available companies that we have had good experiences with in the past. however this does not mean we are taking any responsibility for any recommended trucking companies performance or pricing. Scottsdale Art Factory L.L.C. Does Not Accept Any Responsibility For Freight Damage, Freight Companies' Services Or Rate Quotes. This means the freight company you choose is working directly for you. Our freight responsibility ends when you or your trucking company signs for the freight pickup. These companies are certifying, by receipt of pickup, that your furnishings left our dock in perfect condition. In the rare instance your freight becomes damaged, it is your responsibility to claim the freight damage. All freight is fully insured through your trucking company. We do not accept dealers in their own vehicle or consumer will calls due to insurance reasons. All will calls must be by properly licensed and bonded moving or freight companies. S.A.F. Reserves The Right To Refuse This Free Service With Out Consequence If We Deem Unreasonable Requests Are Being Required By Any Dealer Or Consumer.This includes but is not limited to asking for more than two freight prices on any particular order. Being argumentative to our freight personal or going beyond the scope of the intended purpose of this free service.
Quality Control/ShippingScottsdale Art Factory L.L.C. Offers Both Old Fashioned Wooden Crates And Blanket Shipping. Our company feels it produces a product of such high quality it deserves to arrive first class, no matter if it is shipped around the world or across town. Keep in mind that even though we are not in the shipping business we take extra precautions to ensure you a damage free delivery through our quality control system. Before Each Item Is Shipped Our Quality Control Inspectors Are Charged With Finding Any Mistakes Or Problems Prior To Scheduling A Loading Dock Appointment With Your Trucking Company. These inspectors are not only on hourly pay but are also paid a bonus if they find any defects. In addition, your trucking company's professional driver also inspects and certifies by signature that each item is in perfect condition prior to loading. This double check system insures a worry free, dependable, and affordable delivery. All items are fully insured by your trucking company. Wooden Crates Are An Extra Charge.However, wooden crates will allow you to ship by common carrier as well as a moving company. Sometimes the combined crate cost and the common carriers freight rate will result in a lower cost overall than blanket shipping. All items shipped overseas by air or sea require wooden crates. Unclaimed Freight Notice: All Items Left Unclaimed More Than 6 Months Of Pro Forma Will Automatically Accrue Ware House And Storage Fees At The Minimum Rate Of $250.00 Per Month Or More Depending Upon Number Of Items.
